Data mapping functionality allows you to automatically update a field value from Dynamics 365 and eSAW and vice-versa.


Configure a new Data Mapping

Using this sample data mapping configuration, creating an envelope from a contact (parent object), the title of the contact will be used to fill the textbox 'title1' field in eSAW envelope. After the user changes the title1 field value during the eSAW envelope completion, the status will be updated in Salesforce connector, the title of the Dyncamics 365 contact will be updated from the value updated in eSAW document by signer.

Steps to follow to configure a new data mapping:

  • Starting new data mapping creation:

    1. Select the Dynamics 365 entity that you want use for mapping.
    2. Define a Mapping Name
    3. Save the new mapping
  • Configure the new Data Mapping from Dynamics 365 to eSAW document:

    2. The name of the field of chosen Dynamics 365 object that you want to map.
    3. The id of the field in eSAW document.
    4. The type of the field in eSAW document.
    5. The number of the document uploaded in the envelope that contains the field that you want to map.
    6. Save Data Mapping.


  • Configure the new Data Mapping from eSAW document to Dynamics 365:

    2. The id of the field in eSAW document.
    3. The name of the field of chosen Dynamics 365 object that you want to map.
    4. Check this flag to override the existing value in the selected field in Dynamics 365
    5. The number of the documents uploaded in the envelope that contains the field that you want to map.
    6. Save Data Mapping.
